What students are saying

“I’ve been meditating for years, and I’ve been studying self-compassion for years. But taking Lea’s course and doing these simple heart-centered drawings of my inner experience made me actually experience self-compassion on a visceral level. It was like going from reading about swimming to actually diving into the water.”
JoAnne T.

“This class really helped me put into practice the things I needed to learn at a much deeper level than I’d ever reached before from books. … I can honestly say that it’s made a huge difference. I’m a lot nicer to myself now, and I can show up better for those around me.”
Kelsey G.

“I’ve studied self-compassion for years. Yet, taking the practices and painting them brought them to life in a way I had never experienced before. It’s so powerful! I was terrified because I don’t consider myself an artist in any way. And yet, because of how she structures each art journaling practice, there was nothing intimidating about it. To the contrary, I feel so proud of all the art I have done. I plan to continue using these tools again and again. I’m so deeply grateful.”
Julie M.

“These activities have given me tools for the situations in my life that happen on a daily basis. … Painting has been the only time when my brain feels focused and present.”
Elizabeth H.
