A Personal Invitation from Lea

If we haven't met yet, I'm Lea Seigen Shinraku, MFT, licensed therapist and self-compassion teacher

Early in my career, I was struck by how many of my therapy clients struggled with self-judgment ~ and how hard it was to actually be kind to themselves, even after they understood the concept of self-compassion. And I struggled with this, too.

It became clear over time that there was a gap between the idea of self-compassion, and actually being kind to yourself in real life. The meditations and other reflective practices I did for myself and then shared in sessions and classes helped, but they only seemed to go so far.

During Covid, I faced a significant loss that changed the way I understand self-compassion. What helped me through it was something unexpected ~ and I'll share that story live, in the workshop.

Through my work and personal experience, I've seen how effective and fun it can be when we approach self-judgment with a structured, creative approach rather than just wishing we were kinder to ourselves and not knowing what to do about it.

This workshop is designed to introduce that framework and help you approach self-judgment in a new, action-oriented way ~ by tapping into your creativity ~ so you can actually be kind to yourself in everyday life.

If you struggle with self-judgment, even after years of trying to be kinder to yourself, I'd love to have you join the workshop.

Warmly,

Lea
